Technical Features
Wine made with Garnatxa Negra and Merlot grown at a height of between 500 and 700 meters above sea level in the rural and mountainous area of the Manlleu Plan. The Garnatxa or also denominated Almez in Catalonia is a variety resistant to the drought and produces wines of good alcoholic degree and pleasant aromas to red fruit. The elegance of the Merlot will bring balance to the fabric thanks to its delicate tanins, moderate acidity and remarkable structure.
Aging in clay amphora of 720 liters for 3 months to preserve and respect its varietal aromas.
Alcoholic strength: 13.5% vol.
Tasting note:
- VISUAL PHASE: Red cherry with robes. High layer.
- OLFATIVE PHASE: Great aromatic intensity where we find notes in ripe black fruits and memories to licorice, fragrances proper of Garnatxa. Fons clean and with mineral touches.
- GASTATIVE PHASE: Structured, round and with a good balance between acidity and alcohol. In pleasant mouth where we remember the fruity nuances of blackberries and raspberries. Long and persistent ending.
Pairing: Fresh and expressive wine very indicated with all kinds of grilled meats, sausages and cheeses. Especially recommended with a chicken and plum roast or a sea and mountain rice.
Conservation and service: Enjoy it at a temperature between 14 and 16ºC.
