The Olive Oil Press<\/h2>\n

We will meet in the gardens of Cal Figueras, Km0 of the Zone +500, where by the new stands of the old cellar we will make an historical introduction of the cellar, the family and the environment (the abandoned village of Selma, the Templars, the route of the Cister, the monastery…) all accompanied by a glass of our sparkling C\u00f2dols.<\/p>\n

Then we will take a walk through the territory, among vineyards and olive groves, worked in an ecological and sustainable way. As we walk, we will harvest olives and we will tell you everything related to these crops.<\/p>\n

Once back at the old cellar, we’ll explain how the olives were ground in the old mill, formed by two enormous conical stones that turn and crush the olives on a circular base. A spectacle of aromas and flavours, in an environment that would return us to the past.<\/p>\n

We’ll then taste the olive oil of this year and last year. All this accompanied by our wines and sausages from El Pla de Manlleu.<\/p>\n

  • Guided tour of vineyards and olive groves<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Visit to the renovated ancient cellar, seeing how oil was produced in the past, on an authentic stone donkey-powered mill.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Tate the oil from the old mill, as well as that produced nowadays, on toasted farmers’ bread.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Have a glass of red and white wine matched with local sausages.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Relaxed, fun atmosphere!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
